Keyworth 2010

After approximately 3 months preparation, the weekend of the 12th of December 2010 arrived for the “Turkey Trot” Half Marathon in Keyworth, Nottinghamshire. The starting team comprised of Andy Rossol, Paul Sallis, Nicky Horsely, Mo Williams and of course JD Hylton. They had regular running sessions each week and this steadily increased their confidence in working as a team. “JD” said “The gentlemen very kindly agreed to run the half marathon for my Dad’s charity, ABAPDC which is a UK-based charity that supports and helps poor and disadvantaged children in Jamaica. They were not regular marathon runners, but they were all ‘stars’” (see below). |
